SITUATION REPORT (SITREP) as of DECEMBER 13, 2021
Severe weather impacted the central U.S. on Dec 10 & 11; preliminary reports of 52 tornadoes, 270 wind, and 20 hail reports across multiple states. 18 counties in Kentucky were impacted by tornadic activity and debris fields.

Kentucky: 80 confirmed fatalities, unknown number of injuries;
Tennessee: 4 confirmed fatalities, 74 injuries
Arkansas: 2 confirmed fatalities, 18 injuries
Missouri: 2 confirmed fatalities, 9 injuries
Ilinois: 6 confirmed fatalities, unknown injuries
Food, Water, & Shelter
KY has 8 shelters with 276 occupants and TN has 3 shelters with 8 occupants
KY: Mansfield has no power or water; no power at Dawson Springs water/wastewater plant; water tower in Graves County destroyed; substantial damage to water/wastewater systems in Hickman County
TN: Boil water advisories in Gibson and Weakley counties

Region IV RWC at Enhanced Watch, night shift; RRCC at Level II, day shift with select ESFs and DCOs.
IMAT-1 (Incident Management Assistance Team) deployed to Kentucky.

USACE: Planning and Response Team (PRT) providing support
Additional personnel deploying to staff Incident Support Teams (IST) plus augmentation.
Type 3 taskforces (Indiana Taskforce 1, Tennessee Taskforce 1, Missouri Taskforce 1, and Ohio Taskforce 1 operational with K9 teams operational in Mayfield, Kentucky.
